Three 10ft balanced TRS cables on Canare L-4E6S, built and clearing out. When they are gone they are gone.
L-4E6S is star quad, and that is the reason to want it. Instead of the usual two conductors, it runs four, cross-connected into two pairs and twisted so that each pair sits diagonally opposite its partner. Any magnetic field passing through the cable hits both halves of a pair equally and cancels at the far end. It is the standard answer to running audio near dimmer racks, lighting bars, power distros, and wall-wart transformers — the situations where an ordinary balanced cable picks up hum and there is nothing you can do about it from the console.
At 10ft these suit balanced line work: a mixer insert send and return, a console output to a powered speaker, a synth or interface run across a desk, or a stereo pair between racks. The braided shield handles RF, the star quad geometry handles magnetic interference, and the 6mm PVC jacket is thin enough to dress neatly behind a rack without being flimsy.
Built to order with Neutrik NP3X plugs in nickel on both ends, soldered by hand with lead-free, RoHS compliant silver solder and tested before shipping. Covered by our lifetime warranty.
These three are fixed at 10ft. If you need another length or a different combination of ends, we build two balanced cables to order. The Mogami 2549 runs 22AWG oxygen-free copper with a spiral shield — more flexible and easier to dress behind a rack. The Van Damme Tour Grade Classic XKE uses a 24AWG silver-plated conductor at 46 pF/m core to core, the lowest capacitance of the three. Both available with TRS, XLR, or mixed ends.
