With the rise of MIDI over TRS connectors, smaller-format gear has created demand for a dedicated MIDI to 3.5mm TRS patch cable. Boss’ newer pedal lines — including the 200 and 500 series — are a prime example of gear that requires MIDI on 3.5mm connectors rather than full-size 1/4″. This cable pairs a Disaster Area Designs right-angle 5-pin DIN connector with your choice of a Neutrik right-angle 3.5mm connector or a Revelation straight 3.5mm connector, giving you the flexibility to route cables cleanly no matter how your rig is laid out. The 8-position rotatable barrel on the DIN end handles the rest — use The MIDI Configurator to select your ideal exit angle before ordering.
Wiring follows either the Type A MIDI standard or Type B, compatible with most pedals using 3.5mm MIDI. Select the correct wiring for your pedal at checkout.
