I have to say… we were pretty sad when day four of NAMM 2019 rolled around. We were having so much fun and meeting so many awesome people that we didn’t want it to end! As soon as we entered the convention, we saw Mark Lettieri! I’m a fan of Snarky Puppy so that was exciting! He was extremely nice and easy to talk to. And turns out he was super excited to receive a Revelation Cable Company cable! We also got to see him do a Masterclass where he went into the details on how he writes and plays! It was definitely a lesson in the use of a Ditto Looper.

I have to say, meeting Mason from Vertex Effects was such a pleasure. He was so kind and willing to help out a new business like RCC. It was really nice to be able to try out the various flavours of overdrive’s and boost’s he has to offer. They were, of course, great! You definitely need to check out the new Tone Secret! For those of you who want to know the tricks to putting together a pro pedalboard you need to check out Mason’s Youtube series called “The Rig Doctor.”

We passed by the Death By Audio booth many times, and those guys know how to have fun! We loved their full body matching suits and their enthusiasm. Seems like such a fun place to work! Some of their specialty business cards are a circuit board that can be made into a pedal… say what?!?! And of course, their pedals were awesome too!

I’ve been wanting to try the Drybell Vibe Machine for a long time. It didn’t disappoint! It is one of the smoothest vibe pedals I’ve ever played. Plus the amount of features packed into such a little enclosure adds so much value. It’s on my list!

Before day four of NAMM 2019 sadly ended, we made our way upstairs to visit some of the big boys! This Gibson Firebird in Pelham Blue was a sight to see. What a beauty! I’ve wanted a Firebird ever since I saw Gary Lee Connor of the Screaming Trees play one back in 1993.

And last but most definitely not least is the Billy Duffy signature Gretsch White Falcon. I love the variations he chose with the silver sparkle trim and old school Bigsby bar. Be sure to check out RCC’s upcoming cables based on the White Falcon!

So that wraps up our NAMM 2019 trip. We left excited and counting down the days until Winter NAMM 2020! If you’re there, let’s meet up! And if you’d like to see our video recapping our whole NAMM experience, check it out below.
