We were so excited to attend day one of NAMM 2019!  The NAMM Show takes place in Anaheim, California and is described as “the world’s largest trade-only event for the music products, pro audio and event tech industry”. Once we arrived at the convention centre, we were off to obtain our badges and go explore!  One thing I recommend is picking up your badges BEFORE the morning of day one.  Despite the long line, the organization is great and they do a good job of getting everyone’s badges dispersed quickly.  We spent all day moving from booth to booth and met so many amazing people.  We are excited to share our experience of the first day of NAMM 2019!

Spaceman Effects booth created an incredible experience with a showcased pedal that hovered and dissipated into infinity… you can see it lit up in the background of the photo.  We especially loved the Mission Control pedal! Spaceman Effects has been able to consistantly create new pedal designs on a limited run basis. They are truly pieces of art!

It was the coolest experience to be walking around checking out gear and casually look to the left and see well known artists!  Ariel Posen is an incredibly gifted guitarist, singer and songwriter. It’s nice to see fellow Canadian’s experience success worldwide. You may know him from his appearances on the YouTube channel That Pedal Show. He was a super nice guy!  Click his name to check out his music.

I loved the JHS Pedal booth!  The black and white circuit board looked fresh. And of course the pedals were unreal.

There were MANY more amazing things that took place on day one but we’ve tried to just touch on a few favourite highlights.  You can see the recap of our whole experience here…
