Description
The Revelation Patch Cable begins with a low-profile black pancake connector that is engraved with RCC’s logo. With three cable options and seven color options there’s something for everyone. As with all of RCC cables we only use lead-free, ROHS compliant silver solder. To finish off the Revelation patch cable we use black heatshrink for optimal strain relief. The three cable options are:
Mogami 2319 has been the standard for years when it comes to patch cables for pedalboards. The 2319 has a diameter of 0.197 (5mm) making it a great fit for the Revelation connector. The 2319 is flexible due to its use of spiral shielding and the pvc jacket is a model of reliability. While the capacitance is slightly higher than others in its class, (47.3pFft [155pF/m]) it’s still within a range that shouldn’t negatively affect your high frequencies.
Van Damme’s XKE Unbalanced Pro-Patch has benefits of the Mogami 2319 and BTPA CA-0678 with flexibility (spiral shielding) smaller diameter (0.178″ [4.5mm]) and a low capacitance (27.4pF/ft [90pF/m]). Its unique composite jacket of pvc and neoprene as well as its conductor size of AWG 24 assist in its flexibility. The XKE combines Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) and silver-plates OFC.
