Description
The Revelation Patch Cable starts with our low-profile pancake connector: a black cap engraved with the Revelation Cable Co. logo, finished with black heat shrink for solid strain relief. It projects just 0.35″ (8.9mm) from the jack and measures 0.81 × 1.33″ (20.7 × 33.9mm), so it tucks in close to your pedals and keeps your board tidy.
Build it three ways, all for the same price: pancake to pancake, pancake to short straight, or short straight to short straight. Our short straight connector is only 1.10″ (27.9mm) long with a 0.51″ (12.9mm) round body, which makes it the right choice for switchers, loopers, and pedals where the jacks sit close together. Pancake to short straight is the classic pairing for switching systems: the pancake sits flat at the pedal, and the short straight fits the tight jack rows on the switcher.
Mogami 2319 has been the standard pedalboard patch cable for years. At 0.197″ (5mm), it’s a snug fit for our connectors, and its spiral shield and PVC jacket make it flexible and dependable. Its capacitance of 47.3 pF/ft (155 pF/m) is higher than some cables in its class, but across typical pedalboard lengths it keeps high-frequency rolloff to a minimum.
Van Damme Unbalanced Pro-Patch is the lower-capacitance choice. At 27.4 pF/ft (90 pF/m), it pushes the resonant peak higher and keeps your top end open on longer runs. It’s slimmer at 0.178″ (4.5mm), and its PVC-neoprene composite jacket and 24AWG conductor make it exceptionally flexible.
Every cable is soldered by hand with lead-free, RoHS compliant silver solder, tested before it ships, and backed by our lifetime warranty.
Short on board space? The Revelation Mini Patch Cable uses a smaller pancake. Want colour? The Revelation Patch Cable on BTPA CA-0678 comes in seven jacket colours.
